Handmade to order

Every doll is crocheted by hand after you order it. The 3D design on the website is a guide to the doll you will receive, not a photograph of it: colours, proportions and small details vary from the screen, between yarn batches and from one handmade piece to the next. That is part of a handmade doll, and is not a fault.

Orders and prices

Prices are in Egyptian pounds and are shown while you design. Placing an order is a request: we contact you to confirm it, its price, how you will pay and when it will be ready, and the order is agreed only once we have confirmed it with you. We may decline an order, for example a design we cannot make well or a name we will not stitch.

If a price shown on the website is clearly wrong, we will tell you before confirming and you may cancel without paying anything.

Payment, delivery and pickup

Payment is arranged with you when we confirm the order. Delivery is within Egypt to the address you give us; delivery times are estimates, since each doll takes many hours of work. You can also collect your order when we agree a time with you. Please check your address and phone number: we cannot be responsible for an order sent to the details you entered.

Changes and cancellations

You can change or cancel an order free of charge until we start crocheting it. Once work has started the doll is being made for you alone, so we may ask you to pay for the work and materials already used.

Returns

Because each doll is personalised, we do not accept returns for a change of mind. If your doll arrives damaged, or is not what was agreed, contact us within 7 days of receiving it with photos, and we will repair, remake or refund it. This does not affect any rights you have under Egyptian consumer protection law.

Safety

Our dolls are made with care for children, but some designs include small parts — safety eyes, buttons, beads, name clips and accessories — which can be a choking hazard. Dolls with small parts are not suitable for children under 3 years old without adult supervision. Name clips and teething rings should be checked before each use and taken away if worn or damaged. Hand wash gently in cool water and dry flat.

Your account

You may sign in with your Google account to see your orders. Keep your account secure and tell us if you believe someone else has used it. How we handle your information is set out in our privacy policy (belovedcrochet.com/privacy).

Our designs

The website, its doll models, pictures and the Beloved Crochet name and logo belong to Beloved Crochet. You may share pictures of your own designs and of your doll; you may not copy the website or its models, or sell dolls presented as ours.

Responsibility

We do our best to keep the website working and accurate, but it is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, our responsibility for an order is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit.

Law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. If we change them, we will update this page and the date at the top; an order is governed by the terms in force when it was placed.
